A new type of security door that has been installed in the new altonamas new apartment building is more than just a clever disguise for doors.
It has also been discovered to be an explosive.
The doors have been installed to prevent people entering the apartment building that is located in the heart of Sydney’s altonastown, where a number of people have been killed and many others injured.
Security footage showed a group of men wearing masks and wielding firearms enter the apartment.
They were then seen to run out of the building and into the streets.
Security cameras captured a group running towards the altonashown building, but a man in a mask and carrying a handgun was seen holding up his hands and walking away from the scene.
Altonas police have warned residents to stay away from this building.
“The first alarm was raised at 6.35pm on Sunday morning, when two males in masks approached a security alarm in the building at the corner of Mott and George Streets,” said Assistant Commissioner John Matson.
“We have not received any reports of injuries and it’s unclear at this stage how the incident began.”
A number of residents were evacuated from the building following the incident.
“He said the security alarm was activated when one of the men attempted to enter the building, which was only open to the public.”
This was in relation to an alarm triggered in the Altonas building,” he said.”
It’s possible that the alarm was triggered as part of the installation of the doors.
“Altona police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
