With your car locked, you’ll be left with no way to access it, but you can still access it with a key if you have it.
Security doors are a common feature of many modern cars.

But there’s no need to panic.
The state has an aggressive enforcement program.
The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles says it has an effective plan in place to prevent theft of vehicles.
It also says there’s a strong correlation between vehicle theft and vehicle security measures like locking doors.
For instance, the Department of Public Safety has been in the business of locking vehicles for more than 40 years.
It has a vehicle security plan that includes locking doors, a dashboard-mounted camera and other security measures.ABC News’ Sarah Harrison was on the scene of a car theft in Hawaii.
What to do if you suspect your car’s been stolenABC News contacted the state Department of Transportation about the issue.
They say they have a “detailed and thorough” plan for the problem.
But they say they won’t be providing any assistance.
The department’s spokesman says he has received multiple reports of stolen vehicles in Hawaii, but he won’t comment on specific cases.ABC’s Sarah Harrison visited the car theft scene in Hawaii and saw a number of cars that had not been reported stolen.
She was able to track down the vehicle owner in an online database and identify the exact car that was stolen.ABC NEWS’ Sarah Henderson was at the scene and was able, at least, to retrieve the owner’s vehicle.
